Avignon; Bridges, rivers and forts.
Stroll along the riverside in Avignon visit the famous bridge, Pont D’Avignon and The Palais des Papes. Cross over to the old city of Villeneuve and go inside the ancient fort.
Marseille city and the calanques.
We will take you into the historical centre of Marseille for a walking tour and then by vehicle to the highest point for a 360 º spectacular view from the Cathedral Notre Dame de la Garde. Following this, we will drive to the Calanques of Marseille and Cassis where you will be blown away by the beauty and the views of these rocky cliffs and bays.
Wine tasting and Vines.
We will take you for a wine tasting experience at Château la Coste, with its exceptional 500-acre biodynamic vineyard, combined with all the elements of the perfect French Art de Vivre. Take a stroll down the art promenade where 30 major art installations are scattered throughout the domain, amongst oak trees, 100 year old pines, vines and lavender fields.
Aix-en-Provence Cultural Tour
We will give you a personal tour telling you the hidden secrets of Aix, with its rich history and Baroque architecture, the ancient buildings where businesses still operate centuries later, the fashionable shops, the grand mansions, churches & squares.
We will stroll through the markets, stopping to taste some delicious local provincial produce; fruits, olives, cheeses, olive oils, breads and meats, plus Calissons, Madeleines and Navettes.
Aix has been the home of many artists over the centuries, Cezanne & Zola loved it here. You then have the choice to have some free time to explore the town further or we can take you to the Mont Ste.Victoire and to Cezannes’ atelier.
Luberon Hilltop Villages.
We will take you to some France’s most beautiful villages, listed in the top 10 in France & give you a personalised tour of your preferred places.
We will be stopping for many photo opportunities of these spectacular villages with breathtaking views. You will also have some free time to wander around. The villages that we recommend are Gordes, Rousillion, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Oppede and Sénanque Abbey.
