We will stroll through the many markets (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays) in our morning tours, situated across the city on the Cours Mirabeau , Place des Prêcheurs and others, seeing the colourful, freshest produce.

The old capital of Provence is also known as The city of 1,000 fountains, with so many to see with different shapes, sizes and styles. The “mossy” fountain, Fontaine d’Eau Chaude, was built in 1734.

Aix has been the home of many artists over the centuries, and Cezanne loved it here. We can stop for a coffee/cold drink (drink price not included).
